Saturday morning I make my way to London, followed by catching the Eurostar to PARIS for New Year, Back to London for a few days, then to Glasgow for my 1st Shoot of the Year with Obscure Couture for their Diffusion Range's Look-book, Then I have a test with Andrew R. Moore on the 6th before I go back to Paris for another long weekend! BOOM Then right back into work and shoots. My 1st 2 weekends of the year spent in my favourite city in the world (so far) I'm such a lucky girl.

I don't know if i'm high on life or sugar, it seems more realistic to be the later as I have consumed an insane amount of sugary goods followed by carbalicious savoury treats with that pattern being CONTINUOUSLY repeated! LOVE CHRISTMAS But all good things MUST come to an end, and my BINGE on junk but OH SO delicious food has come to an end for another year, No more food coma's for La!

I have some really exciting news about my New Year but all lips are sealed until I have confirmation! POST TOMORROW

I ALWAYS watch movies in bed, and since the purchase of my beautiful macbook air I have actually been legally downloading EVERYTHING, I guess I feel guilty not anymore PLUS I don't think people realise just HOW clever Apple really are, not only have they managed to design a beautiful looking laptop that fits in my handbag, THERE is also no disk drive! So the option of watching your DVD's in your laptop like a normal human being is in fact not an option SO I have double copies of my favourites on this and on disk. CLEVER CLEVER APPLE.

Tonights purchase was found in the Romance section (as all action this Christmas has been non existent, NO Mistletoe Kissing, No too many mauled wine mistakes! Guys it's getting reciduclous I NEED SOME ROMANCE! either that or I need to stop watching Rom Com's and filling my head with Unrealistic & Unachievable Prince Charming type Male's who are going to sweep me off my little feet?) The movie CLOSER? Great cast and story line, and The opening song is already pulling at my heart strings)

I brought in Christmas with the ladies and gents at my 'local' THE SHED! Eeee MUCHOS FUN was had by ALL! Kind of a Christmas traddition that I LOVE & also the first year i've been and actually been legal as I was down under last year. OH SHIEET

La & Santa seriously got it on this year, no coal in sight, just lots of lovely goodies, smellies & gadgets. After some serious unwrapping/ripping open the beautifully wrapped presents to the point paper cuts were almost involved, I sat down to a freaking 5 course meal with My Mum's side of the FAM. I know every house is different, but we have rules and regulations. Even on Christmas!! Everyone must be present to open the presents? Excuse the pun. Games MUST be played by all and Mum MUST insist on filling your glass full of bubbly every two-seconds. Resulting in a very giggly, hiccuping afternoon followed by a boozy nap, then up for round two. I am somewhere in the almost stopped giggling and hiccuping point nearly ready for my nap!! I think I will have a bubble bath filled with all my molton brown goodies, so i'm smelling FRESH for bed ALONE.. How depressing? No, i've decided being single at Christmas is something i'm going to EMBRACE and when it comes to sale shopping, treat myself to a gift. A Christmas gift for myself from myself? Something of the Mulberry variety maybe? WHAT?!?! I've been good this year! Nonetheless Christmas is about family and spending it together, Kind of sad as I come from a broken home A.K.A Mother & Father are divorced, which means Christmas never really feels complete! BUT on the up side, means Christmas with the Andrew's Part 2 is still to come... TOMORROW! Every cloud has a silver lining.

So today was another gym time FAIL. I didn't even rise from the dead till 12pm! What thu? Sort of loving life in my bed right now though, Sleep has become a major priority!

A few days ago I had a mass clear out on Facebook, now, anyone reading this that was on the end of my rash deleting spree do not take it personally, Truth is I do not know 1,900 people. & quite frankly I am actually becoming more private as the year progresses which explains a lot with this blog. Although i'm freaking flattered that loads of people read all these ramblings I have to admit being talked AT when out and about by people you don't even recognise never mind know about you and your life is DEAD weird. But again I suppose thats the whole point right? SO if you wanna be a nosey bastard about whats going on with my life then the best way to do so is to keep reading this, follow me on twitter or like my fecking page. Anyone who has a page on Facebook knows that you can in fact see who and how many people SWATCH it, and it's funny as a hell of a lot more people swatch that admit to LIKE whats the deuce people? It's not a bad thing to be nice and to support other people, Glasgow needs to get a grip of this whole thing of wanting people to fail it really irritates me! Be a positive person as radiating positive energy has a massive effect on your whole life. TRUST.

Bahumbug is the title of this blog, truth be told I LOVE christmas and everything that comes with it, I am a MASSIVE GIVER and actually buzz out of giving presents! OH THE JOYS. Not to mention the one day out of the whole year where EVEYRONE gets a pass to eat until you actually feel sick, WIN WIN WIN. But this year, something isn't clicking, I don't feel christmasy, I've actually started TRYING to get into it, I watched elf, CLASSIC, so much love for that film. I helped the fam with the tree bla bla bla but seriously it doesn't feel like santa's on his way in my head. Hopefully this will change. ASAP or i'm in for a definite lump of coal

This time last year, I was in the beautiful Australia, I spent Christmas Day in 45degree heat, a very different situation to the one I am going to find myself in on Sunday, I plan on going back to Australia in the very near future. I really loved the whole lifestyle out there. 

This image was taken on one of my favourite shoots to date, In Oz. This was one of the most intense days of my modelling career but it's where I also first felt like I was actually pretty all right at all this posing lark. I was pushed poked and prodded all day long and in this, I was in fact pushed to my best, This is where my modelling career REALLY begun...

Get Your Shit Together

I kind of my lost hope in myself for a second there, and lost hope in my lovely little blog. But after using it to GET MY SHIT TOGETHER & GET MOTIVATED, I'm back, for the 1000th time this year. Decided I need some consistency in my life, routine and a schedule. So I'm going to take you with me, day by day! Officially on the 1st of january, I'm going to do the year long photo challenge. 365 photos & I'm going to start video blogging! Yes, I've finally decided to MAN UP & get on it. Lots of plans for 2012. A year I will finally leave my teenage years and turn 20, hopefully travel some more, learn live laugh and love? My Mr Big is out there, he has to be right? 

Yesterday & Today have been spent on the couch, movie marathon and catching up on sleep. Tomorrow will be as far from movie watching as humanly possible, polar opposite day. Its back to the gym I go, Planning on 2 training sessions. One long cardio interval training, then a break & a swim! Then onto an intense weight session! Girls & boys, you only get one shot at this life! One body so make the most of it & look after it! Advice I'm planning on putting into practice! 

I only have 1 shoot this week which is good as I can concentrate on the gym get focused and in shape! My one shoot is Mr Ten30's S/S 2012 Look-book! Being shot on Wednesday morning! Then i'm working at an event on Saturday ALL day long! Hopefully be flat shoes involved give my poor lil' toots a rest from my 'tranny heels' as Rachel Zoe would say. 

Over the last days of 2011, I plan on reflecting on the last year, and putting up some stuff that will hopefully motivate you guys into doing better, being better and striving to achieve your dreams.

I have a target that has to be met by the end of 2011, Let's see if we can reach it.

Lil' Update

So wannabe's I've actually had a whole 10 days off, been trying to chill. Change my diet & QUIT THE AWFUL Ciggs.

I have now successfully Chilled, and i'm feeling 1000% better for it. World domination is back on the to do list. Well, maybe not but i'm definitely going to dominate and take control of my life once again. Burning out and over working is SO bad for you I cannot describe how important sleep & rest is, totally ESSENTIAL! GET TO YOUR BED Y'ALL - Thats an ORDER! 

Diet has changed from crisps and chocolate to fruit and veg -  in a YUMMY way, making soup and smoothies has put the fun back into healthy for me, & I've managed to pack in smoking all together! I feel SO much better for it!

So today, even though i've still been resting/planning the redecoration for my room I've received 2 HUGEE pieces of news! A few months ago a photographer/friend named Laura McKinnon told me to enter a competition for a huge cosmetics brand called NYX as they were launching in the U.K but are already MASSIVE in America, the comp winner is going to be the New Face of the brand, so today I got the email to tell me i'm in the final! Photo shoot in London next Wednesday! WISH ME LUCK! 

Then received another email to tell me I was on VOGUE ITALIA! Yes, .. I know

Love the days when you least expect it to be glorious it IS! Oh my GAD it was such a beaut of a day in Edinburgh & I had a location shoot! WINNER 

Although the sun was splitting the sky, believe me it still felt like winter - I could see my breathe in the air type of cold!

I was shooting with spanish photographer Igor Termenon and Make up artist Ashleigh Anderson! It was an early start as I had to go pick up dresses from Designer Rebecca Torres before heading to get the train with Ms Anderson

Bare Foot

Eventful weekend people, WORK WORK WORK. Friday I was down at Obscure Couture HQ paying my two favourites a visit, then was at my Gran's for a catch up with my Fam, Dad and my brother's were up from Cheshire so was nice to spend some quality time. I was definitely the favourite sister in the room, armed with 3 newThomas the Tank Engine goodies - so was lovely to get lots of cuddles and kisses even if the might have been bribed! We set off some night before bonfire night fireworks! Charlie, 3 - LOVED them, and you should have seen the newest additions eyes, at 6 months I don't think Murphy new what the hell was going on bless.

Saturday was spent at the SECC at girls day out, I was helping a company called amazing smile - was such a busy day and was great to see the woman out in full force! Butlers in the buff was an added bit of eye candy for us all too! After I completely KNACKERED & with a call time of 6.30am for Sunday's shoot I made the sensible decision to have a very early night.

So after snoozing my 3 alarms until I really HAD to get up, I finally rolled out of bed into the shower, only to get back into my jammies, yes. DIVA La got in the car to the location today in her cosey jammies and wooly blanket. I slept the majority of the way up & then it was straight into make up then hair - then location..

It really was beautiful, but - I was frozen right through!

A TEAM - David was on TOP form, great catching up on all the latest happenings and goss, Jaquie's handy work was AH-MAZING I loved the make up, it was totally flawless! & The lovely Gail, 1st impressions count - what a laid back, chilled out woman, put me straight to ease and the hair was HUGE, makes such a difference working with people like all of the above - pushes you to work harder! Gail brought along her adorable little boy Alexander too! SO CUTE! Laura was 1 of David's assistant today also a photographer and equally as amazing person, 2nd assistant was William full of chat about his travels kept me entertained and blocked the sun from blinding me - WINNER. & Di, the wonderfully talented Di Gilpin who had us all pilled into her beautiful cottage & studio. It was such a pleasure working with you all, Thank you for having me and can't wait to see our editorial in the magazine. 

I have SUCH a busy week. & it's time to get my head well and truly in the game. I'm excited for whats to come.

YEY, I had the BEST Day, SUPPER LONG, But AH MAZING. 

Kicked off with my first christmas latte from Starbucks, red cup & all me & Lou even bought candy kane's just to get into christmas vibes. 

2nd Stop, Lou's place for HAIR. I met Lou for the first time at Obscure Couture HQ, But have always heard wonderful things - so inevitably my expectations were high & to be fair - She smashed through the expected and exceeded everything I hoped for - BOOM BOOM - My long locks were washed blow dried curled then pined up into BOW'S Yes a head full of bows. L O V E. Lou you da BEST

Next was central station to meet the lovely ashleigh who was in charge of making me up! We found each other and clambered onto the rush hour train where we proceeded to talk and laugh loudly - We eventually got to the studio to be greeted by the lovely clare 

1st Look, PRINCESS, This dress was really something else. Made for the MAC & Hello Kitty collaboration for New York Fashion Week in 2006. WOW WOW & MORE WOW. Honestly it would make even the deadliest of SINNERS feel like saints. It was freaking TINY - SIZE ZERO MY HERO. Sorry ribs - corseted up - my whole body took a while to remaster the skill of BREATHING. 

I stood I sat I lay until there was no more poses to get - I honestly can't wait to wear it again. 

2nd Look - Gold Leafs, In a year of shoots, I've actually never had gold leafs on my face or bod? I LOVED this look, Very Me. Clare was SO good to me, even making me pasta and cheesy garlic bread before I fell over with the lack of food I had that day! NOM NOM NOM Batteries recharged but body EXHAUSTED we got the shot & I got on my way to my BED 

Never been happier to see pillows and a duvet.

I walked in - In the Company of Wolves & it was a total SUCCESS! The whole team did themselves proud and they day went SWIMMINGLY - The event is all for charity, and with the two brains behind the whole thing in their last year at University which means DISSERTATION time they did SO BLOODY WELL. Hats off to Claire & Ally & The whole team!

Then was the Obscure Couture Final S/S12 Look Book Shoot. Where havoc was once again turned into beauty, with a team in full force for hair and make up, waiting on hand and foot for 20 supper beautiful models we got the mammoth job DONE & in good time too. IDEAL

Then, Halloween came for 4 freaking days, I mean CAM'AAAANNN! It's meant to fall on the 31st of October, BUT No, Glaswegians use it as an excuse to party for the full 4 - friday - monday night, ridiculous amounts of fake blood, slutty outfits and freaky contacts SWARMED the city. 

So of Course, I Joined in ONE night of 4

On Sunday, LCR my beautiful friend and fellow creative asked me to do a little job at Sunday Circus, I got one of my best girls in the world of models Rachel M to come be my wingman. Little did we know that we were soon to be cockered up and put on a leash!!! Yes, Sunday Circus is an event always held in a secret location, So Myself and Rachel fronted the Parade and lead them to the unknown location on a leash - To be fair it was the Easiest job on the planet as we literally had to walk round the block. BOOM

IT'S TEN30 BITCHES - SHOW TIME

Last night I had THEE worst sleep EVER, Honestly hardly shut my eyes at all & before I knew it it was time to get up and get my FRESHNESS ONN! Shower, Bath - STANDARD DOUBLE WHAMMY, Dry my Main & Full body Moisturise, Clean fresh faced ready for show prep! After that mammoth task of blow drying my hair alone, I was off to OBCURE COUTURE HQ for a much needed Pow Wow and Catch up. The house was full of lovely people including Jenn & Lyndsay (obviously) New to the obscure T E A M, Ms Dawn Smith, I T C O W's Claire Stuart and my LOVE Designer in her own right Ms Leelah Macaulay! After Bad Skin, Amazing Hair, Bright Future's & Fashion Fabulousness were discussed it was time to say my See Ya Later's & Head to the Mal Maison for the Fittings and Run through!

On arrival I perked myself on the 'sink into me' couch, wow that thing was comfy & MAN that room was beyond warm!  Mr Alan true to form was going at it at the sewing machine making the final touches to his beautiful designs, One by one the models got prepped and primed (as mac would say) by the lovely Cat Gatenby who managed to make us all look 60's glam. Fellow model Mhairi McGowan managed to get me through the long wait! First Impressions COUNT god what a lovely human being you are gurl, Look forward to working with you again!

So, faces painted, hair did - I was READY TO ROCK THE RUNWAY. Also, was so excited to be opening the show - which was BEAUTIFUL by the way, wait until you see the pictures. The runway edged with heather the mood was totally appropriate to both Ten30 & Harris Tweed! Top of the runway being topped off with a live violinist and male vocalist - total old scots feel - it really was awesome!

All Round AH MAZING Night, Well done Alan & Team it was such a pleasure to rock your wonderful Runway Show.

So all fired up and ready to get my pout on, The rained poured and the shoot was called off. This is another reason I have to move. Glasgow sort your life out. 

So today, I have actually had a DAY OFF yes ladies and gentlemen, I feel freaking AMAZING for it. I swear all work and no play/sleep ain't good for you. Not one bit. So rest up and recharge those much needed batteries!

Tonight, the plan is to, 1 Tidy my room as it's gotten completely OUT OF CONTROL. Much like my life, But tonight, that's all about to change. I plan on downloading some feel good music, dancing about like a lunatic until it's spotless. 2 FINALLY watch SPREAD, a film I have only seen the start of! Full update on what I think to be continued. 3 PAMPER PAMPER PAMPER for tomorrow's SHOW. I'm SO excited to be back on the runway! I gave up on the idea of runway quite a while ago, but with London fashion week under my belt or heels if you like I feel MUCH more confident on ROCKIN' THE SHIT OUT OF IT

Before the show I'm going to OBSCURE COUTURE HQ for a catch up, I haven't seen my favourites in too long so its time for a natter and caffeine. 

I'm going to take my trusty macbook to the show as it's a pretty long day of waiting about, so expect LIVE coverage wannabe's

La is Back

EH HALLOW RIRI, How god dam sexy do you look with your hunk of a man? Jesus Christ. IMMENSE-NESS I love & a little voice over by The QUEEN herself Ms Agyness Deyn to kick it off, What more could you ask for?
